Technical Inventory and Procurement Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Inventory and Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by managing spare parts inventory, procuring essential components, and collaborating with the maintenance staff.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
- Procure replacement parts promptly and efficiently, adhering to established purchasing procedures and budget guidelines.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan parts budgets, prepare kits for specific maintenance tasks, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement and uphold 5S standards within the inventory and maintenance areas to promote organization and efficiency.
- Share best practices and collaborate with other Inventory Specialists across different locations to optimize inventory management processes.
Your Profile
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or technical purchasing within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Hold a college degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exhibit strong communication skills in both German and English, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
- Possess analytical skills to identify trends in inventory data and propose solutions for process improvement.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
