About the Role

FERCHAU GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring various production materials and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure production materials and components from various suppliers
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers
• Monitor and manage delivery schedules
• Research and select suppliers based on commercial and technical criteria
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Participate in strategic procurement projects
• Coordinate and implement framework agreements
• Analyze procurement and supplier data
• Support the optimization of procurement processes
• Collaborate with internal departments

Requirements

• A successful degree in economics and/or technology
• OR a successful commercial apprenticeship as an industrial buyer with several years of relevant work experience
• MS Office and SAP skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, teamwork, stress resistance, and organizational talent
• Excellent German language skills in writing and speaking are essential
• Good English language skills in writing and speaking
