Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst/Scientist to analyze and interpret financial and budget data to identify trends and patterns. The successful candidate will develop and implement predictive models to forecast revenue and expenses, and create reports to inform decision making at various levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and budget data to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast revenue and expenses
- Create reports to inform decision making at various levels of the organization
- Optimize financial processes and strategies through data-driven insights
- Collaborate with other departments to develop data-driven solutions for financial challenges
- Evaluate and validate data sources
- Provide training and support on data analysis tools for city administration staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
- Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in a government or public sector setting
- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, including Python, R, SQL, and Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in German language (C1/C2 level)
