Data Scientist Internship

The Opportunity

This position is part of our Abbott GmbH team in the CRLB Core Lab division, located in Wiesbaden.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team for a period of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing Core Diagnostics Service data using various tools to provide insights and support continual improvement during customer implementation and hyper-care.

Help with automating data connections and integrations between different programs and projects.

  • Develop and maintain records management processes and policies.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements and process automation.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of automated data processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Produce and track key performance indicators and support reporting processes.
  • Monitor and audit data quality, and liaise with clients to understand data content.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs, visualizations, and prepare reports for various audiences.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of data analysis and programming (e.g., Python).

Familiarity with SQL, PowerBI, HTML, and Excel.

Understanding of data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques.

Strong communication skills and high mathematical ability.

Team-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships within the organization.
