The Role: Senior Strategic Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing equipment and materials that meet our high standards of quality and commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office software.
  • Fluency in English, with German a plus.
