Software Developer for Contact Lens Packaging Machines

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Uhlmann Group, a leading company in the international contact lenses industry. As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing software, robot programs, and HMI visualizations for our high-tech packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for automation tasks
  • Implement customer and process specifications
  • Conduct in-house commissioning and customer site acceptance of equipment
  • Provide first-level and second-level support
  • Deliver user training sessions
  • Serve as a technical contact for customers and the KOCH Service team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Automation Engineering/Information Technology/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • Experience in special machine construction preferred but not required for qualified beginners
  • Knowledge of programming and software implementation in automation tasks
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%)
