This position serves as the primary advisor to the Director of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) and the commanding officer on all aspects related to marketing, strategic planning, and goal-setting for MWR/ACS programs across various installations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice on marketing strategies and resource allocation for programs and activities. Assist in establishing priorities for the distribution of resources, including funds and personnel.

Business Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year strategic business plan, incorporating corporate objectives and priorities for FMWR programs.

Market Analysis: Conduct focus groups, surveys, and market assessments to inform decisions regarding facility operations and the introduction of new products and services.

Marketing Consultation: Act as the main marketing consultant for MWR managers and senior officials, utilizing various marketing tools to identify opportunities and resolve issues.

Revenue Development: Formulate and implement plans to enhance revenue generation, assist in event planning, and promote corporate sponsorship.

Team Leadership: Oversee the marketing staff, ensuring effective market research, analysis, and promotional activities. Set objectives and evaluate performance to maintain high standards of service.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgetary data for appropriated and non-appropriated funds, ensuring accountability and compliance with financial regulations.

Training and Development: Identify training needs for staff and ensure compliance with employment programs, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid German driver's license (class B) and demonstrate proficiency in office automation and Adobe Creative Cloud. Language proficiency in English (C1) and German (C2) is required.
