As a Supply Chief with U.S. Army Europe and Africa, you will be responsible for planning and assigning work to ensure the efficient operation of the Supply Branch. This includes purchasing, warehouse operations, material coordination, and local Self Help shop operations. You will evaluate work performance, provide guidance and advice to employees, and interview candidates for positions. Additionally, you will hear and resolve complaints from employees, recommend disciplinary actions, and identify developmental and training needs of employees.
RequirementsApplicants must have a valid driver's license class B and be able to obtain/maintain a military Driver's license. English Language Proficiency level B2 and German Language Proficiency level C1 are required. The ideal candidate will have experience in clerical work, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, and arranging for events or as a cashier.
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent full-time position (38.5 hrs./week) with a designated duty station at present Ansbach. The future incumbent may be reassigned to another duty station within the same works council agency and commuting area. Telework is also an option, allowing employees to perform work at a location away from the regular worksite on a non-routine, ad-hoc basis.
