We are seeking a talented Real Estate Project Development Manager to join our team in Hamburg. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of our existing real estate portfolio and implementing our strategic vision across all properties.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead medium and large-scale real estate projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and space requirements. Manage stakeholder expectations and secure investment approvals.
- Implement our group workplace strategy for owned locations, optimizing space utilization and fostering a productive work environment.
- Conduct feasibility studies for development projects, assess building valuations, and oversee land acquisition and sales transactions.
- Manage external design teams, real estate service providers, and construction professionals to deliver high-quality results within budget and schedule constraints.
- Provide expert guidance on real estate, architectural, and construction matters throughout all project phases.
- Continuously improve group real estate standards and procedures, including portfolio management, workplace guidelines, investment approvals, lease contracts, and internal benchmarking.
Your Qualifications:
- A university degree in civil engineering, architecture, or real estate studies, coupled with several years of experience in project planning, management, and workplace strategy.
- Proven success in developing, planning, managing, and constructing commercial properties in Germany. Expertise in building compelling business cases and securing high-value investments.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate transactions, workplace strategy, office project planning and construction, as well as German regulations and restrictions related to planning processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrix structure.
- Native-level German language proficiency.
