About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our production team at BGH Edelstahlwerke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our steel processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the identity of materials being processed using work orders, trailers, and stamping
- Set up and operate various machinery, including shearing, polishing, and cutting equipment
- Select and load raw materials and cutting bands
- Operate the cutting machine and bandsaw
- Perform cleaning, separation, and cutting tasks
- Transport materials and equipment using overhead cranes, transport systems, and tools
- Replace worn-out parts and tools
Requirements
- Completed technical training in a relevant field, preferably in steel processing or manufacturing
- Availability to work in a 3-shift operation
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, and lifting
- Desirable: experience with operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Proficiency in using computer-controlled machinery
- Knowledge of technical and technological processes
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes
