The Saxon Hospital Altscherbitz boasts a rich history in the north-western region of Saxony, featuring a total of 343 inpatient beds across the specialties of Psychiatry, Neurology, and Forensic Psychiatry, alongside 4 day clinics, a comprehensive outpatient department, and two medical centers. With over 147 years of heritage, we are dedicated to merging the principles of a contemporary healthcare facility. Our team of 600 professionals emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and collegial support in our daily operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, caring for, and treating patients, while also engaging with their families
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations
- Collaborating on and executing innovative psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment strategies
- Participating in on-call duties
As a specialist, you will also:
- Oversee budgeting within your department, contributing to the overall financial health of the clinic
- Engage in quality management and assist in certification processes
- Contribute to the training of junior physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Partake in standby duties, particularly background services
We are in search of candidates who possess:
- A valid German medical license and advanced training in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or recognized specialization in these fields
- A keen interest and organizational abilities to establish or enhance day clinics
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the domain, including aspects of prevention and rehabilitation
- The capacity to interact with patients in a respectful and empathetic manner, along with a commitment to professionalism
- A willingness to collaborate across various disciplines within a multidisciplinary team
