Role Overview
Your responsibilities in this role:
As the Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in liaising with Volocopter's Supply Chain to ensure adherence to General Quality Requirements across our Global Supply Chain.
- You will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing supplier performance while overseeing their quality metrics.
- You will need to adapt to both internal and external factors that may influence the ongoing approval status of suppliers.
- You will serve as a key communication link between Volocopter and its supply partners.
Required Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in a Quality Manager role within the aviation sector, demonstrating comparable complexity.
- Comprehensive understanding of the EASA regulatory framework and associated practices.
- Proven track record of recent training in relevant Quality Management Standards, including AS/EN/JISQ 9100, EASA Part-21, Part-ORO, Part-M, Part-145, or similar; with a solid grasp of the distinctions among various implementations.
- Current qualifications and experience as an auditor for management systems, whether first, second, or third-party.
