ROLE OVERVIEW

The Programmatic team operates within the Digital Marketing division at DEPT. Our certified specialists in programmatic advertising assist clients in effectively acquiring digital media to meet their objectives. Utilizing real-time bidding and direct publisher agreements, we ensure optimal results. As a team leader, you will challenge and support team members to excel in their professional journeys and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

We are in search of a driven and seasoned Senior Programmatic Specialist to enhance our team. This role involves managing programmatic campaigns across various platforms, optimizing for performance, providing actionable insights to clients, and championing programmatic best practices within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in programmatic advertising, with comprehensive knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and experience managing campaigns on the Google stack (DV360, CM360). Familiarity with The Trade Desk is also advantageous. The candidate should be adept at guiding team members in adopting programmatic best practices and enhancing their skills. Required channel experience includes video, display, digital audio, digital outdoor, and CTV.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support pitches from a programmatic perspective.
  • Continuously seek out the latest trends and opportunities that enhance client value while critically assessing our deliverables.
  • Develop strategies and translate them into exemplary tactics for esteemed clients.
  • Utilize your expertise to formulate plans that recommend the most effective creatives and strategies to reach target audiences and achieve client goals efficiently.
  • Transform results into insights, recommendations, and new strategies that can be clearly communicated at all organizational levels.
  • Oversee programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms, including DV360, The Trade Desk, and other DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
  • Analyze campaign data to deliver insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Present work with data-driven insights and analytics to both internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive and proven experience in programmatic advertising, with in-depth knowledge of the Google Stack, Google Ads (Display/Video), DSPs (e.g., Adform, Tradedesk, DV360), GMP, and Analytics.
  • Strong grasp of the digital advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and recommendations from data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including experience presenting strategies to senior clients and internal teams.
  • Experience managing programmatic campaigns across video, display, digital audio, digital outdoor, and CTV channels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English required, German preferred).
