We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager Accounting to join our team at Peek & Cloppenburg. & Co. KG, Düsseldorf. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to accounting and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage projects, including taking on partial project leadership roles
  • Document and record processes and related technical requirements
  • Develop and design test cases to ensure operational processes are functioning correctly
  • Support and conduct user acceptance tests for financial processes
  • Analyze complex data to monitor ongoing processes
  • Provide legal assessments of accounting and financial matters
  • Communicate and coordinate with various departments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience in a business or IT-related field, preferably in a auditing firm, consulting company, or financial department of a company
  • Relevant knowledge of accounting processes and initial project experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with a conceptual thinking approach
  • Excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
