Finance Operations Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at BABLE Smart Cities Iberia on a full-time basis for at least 6 months. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance operations while working in a dynamic and international environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking and reimbursement processing, financial data entry and reconciliation, and assisting with financial reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
- Participate in special projects and assignments as required.
- Strong Excel and data management skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of financial data.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze and create financial data and reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Preferably knowledge/experience in Power BI (or similar tool).
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong interest in finance and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
- English language proficiency (spoken and written). German and/or Spanish would be highly desirable.
- Previous experience in similar roles would be an added value.
