Cybersecurity Expert for Vehicle Software Development

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at HYDAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for bringing your cybersecurity expertise to our software development process, ensuring the security of our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and standards for our software products, including mobile machines and vehicles, telematics, and connectivity solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, including ISO 21434 and EU Directive 2014/53/EU.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address cybersecurity-related questions and concerns.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and conduct threat analyses and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity concepts and requirements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Analyze attacks on electronic control systems and software solutions for mobile machines and vehicles.
  • Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to development teams on cybersecurity-related topics.

About You:

We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a technical background in software engineering and experience in software development, preferably with a focus on vehicle cybersecurity. You should have a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including access and encryption technologies.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in software engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on vehicle cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, including ISO 21434 and UNECE R155.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in German and/or English.
