About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Strategy and Operations department at Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, develop market research and competitive analyses, and present your findings to senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses through internet research and specialized databases
  • Develop strategic investment decisions, new innovative trends, and new digital business models
  • Present results in Excel or PowerPoint to management teams
  • Identify new market trends and advise on proactive adaptation
  • Interact closely with local management teams and visit subsidiaries
  • Prepare decision papers for the Executive and Supervisory board
Requirements
  • Currently studying business administration, economics, or media sciences
  • Advanced stage of bachelor's or master's degree
  • Practical experience in the media industry, consulting, or strategy unit of a company
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, strong analytical skills, and creative problem-solving
  • Keen interest in new business models and growth strategies
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent MS Office skills
