About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Management Professional to join our team at Rhenus Special Delivery GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles, including the management of maintenance schedules, vehicle inspections, and driver training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, including scheduling and overseeing repairs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Collaborate with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of fleet operations.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation principles, including safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, mechanics, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize fleet performance.
