Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed product cost analyses and implement cost reduction strategies while overseeing development program budgets to facilitate the successful launch of the Alkaline Water Electrolysis Product.
  • Evaluate and analyze the cost structures of both existing and new products.
  • Identify, track, and document ongoing cost reduction initiatives related to products.
  • Establish transparent productivity reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide cost-related guidance and collaborate with product development teams on cost reduction efforts.
  • Assist product managers in setting cost targets for both current and new products to maintain long-term competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement necessary procedures and processes to foster a sustainable cost-conscious culture.
  • Regularly monitor, evaluate, and present budgets for product development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in product cost optimization, value analysis, or cost reduction initiatives.
  • Preferred experience in plant operations with connections to manufacturing or procurement.
  • A comprehensive toolkit for cost reduction across the entire value chain, along with familiarity in cost monitoring processes.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead projects and resolve issues effectively.
  • Intercultural awareness to leverage diverse cultural perspectives.
  • Willingness to collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Openness to occasional international travel for business purposes.
