The Milles Lab (Structural Biology Section) and the Broichhagen Lab (Chemical Biology Section) are seeking a collaborative postdoctoral fellow specializing in organic synthesis and (single molecule) fluorescence spectroscopy. This position is supported by an Integrated FMP Project and focuses on the chemical development of innovative fluorophores and their utilization in single molecule Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) and advanced fluorescence microscopy to investigate intrinsically disordered proteins and significant cell surface receptors related to health and disease. The role is initially offered for 2 years with the possibility of extension.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for highly driven, ambitious, and skilled early-career scientists to join a passionate and collaborative team in an exceptional scientific setting. Ideal candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, preferably with experience in microscopic imaging, and demonstrate a strong record of achievements. All applicants should exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills and a profound personal commitment to advancing scientific knowledge. The primary working language is English.
