About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at people-s-place GmbH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our territory in West/Central Germany, developing strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined territory in West/Central Germany, including end-users, healthcare groups, hotel, and restaurant chains.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed territory sales goals and quotas.
  • Prospect new business opportunities within the region and expand market presence.
  • Organize and plan sales trips and visits to clients and potential clients.
  • Work closely with distributors and key accounts to drive sales and increase market penetration.
  • Use tools like Salesforce and Power BI to track sales performance, monitor key accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide field sales support, conduct joint sales calls, and train distributor sales teams on products and promotions.
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring regular communication, and addressing their needs.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with several years of successful track record in a sales position within the foodservice industry. Experience with selling heavy equipment is a plus. You should have a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or similar qualification. A confident but modest personality, good networking abilities, and extremely well-organized are essential. You should also have strong organizational, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasive sales skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is required. Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus. You should be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent language skills in German, and fluency in English are necessary. Ability to think strategically, execute sales tactics, and analyze markets is essential.
