Join Sunfire GmbH as Vice President Purchasing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our purchasing team as Vice President Purchasing. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and concepts to ensure the company's strategic objectives are met in the areas of AEL, SOEC, Anlagenbau, Service, and Corporate Structure.
  • Implement and optimize procurement processes to ensure the successful execution of procurement activities for all Sunfire Group companies.
  • Lead and develop the purchasing team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders, including Product & Process Development, Production Engineering, Logistics, and Quality Management.
  • Develop and maintain a modern and efficient procurement and supplier structure, aligned with a company in the machine and plant construction industry.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international environment and in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing procurement processes and achieving cost savings.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Fluent in German and English, with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively in both languages.
