The RoleYour new challenge involves planning and coordinating with suppliers throughout the product development process. You will ensure the feasibility of requirements and accompany suppliers in the implementation process. You will analyze and systematically explore new sources of supply. The development, implementation, and further development of product groups and procurement strategies are a key focus of your role. You will analyze, identify, and realize cost-saving potential. In coordination with the procurement leadership, you will drive the selection and development of suppliers forward. You will be responsible for procurement projects in accordance with procurement policy, with direct reporting to the procurement leadership. Conducting independent price and contract negotiations with suppliers and actively participating in international key account projects will round out this exciting task.
Your ProfileYou have a completed degree (engineer, business engineer, master) or a technical/commercial education with additional qualifications or a bachelor's degree in business administration. You have at least 4 years of experience in the procurement area - electronics/TIER1. You have good experience in procurement and technical procurement, as well as knowledge of business and contract law. Good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of SAP/R3 - ERP systems are desirable. Teamwork and a high level of self-initiative and self-motivation characterize you, as well as an above-average level of engagement and organizational talent. A high level of communication skills, including negotiation skills in English, and the willingness to travel internationally are also characteristic of you, as well as a confident demeanor and a results-oriented negotiation style.
