About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Lenders' Solutions Group (LSG) as a Credit Specialties expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth, external presence, internal coordination, and operational excellence.
Growth:
- Develop and refine our value proposition and supporting materials.
- Promote and cross-sell our trade credit, non-payment insurance, surety, and portfolio solutions to new and existing clients.
- Create engaging content for local LSG Credit Specialties brochures and marketing materials.
- Drive innovation and new initiatives.
External Presence:
- Participate in local regulatory discussions on CRM under Basel and local implementation.
- Promote Marsh's LSG offering locally through events, conference attendance, panel participation, and speaking slots.
Internal Coordination:
- Disseminate market information to local in-country teams.
- Organize local training and workshops as needed.
Operational:
- Maintain up-to-date client and prospect lists.
- Track revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven commercial skills, public speaking ability, and constructive engagement with external counterparts.
- 3-7 years of experience in financial services, credit insurance underwriting, or brokerage, focusing on banks and/or non-bank financial institutions.
- Familiarity with insurance topics and syndication/distribution across different asset classes, including trade finance, structured trade & export finance, project finance, commodity finance, and syndication.
- Strong financial skills and securitization knowledge.
- Proven experience in trade finance.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with an additional European language required.
- Multicultural mindset, willingness to travel, and interact with different countries.
- Operational excellence and attention to detail.
