Your Role and Responsibilities

  • You will engage in dynamic international projects focused on railway electrification, taking charge of meticulous project scheduling for intricate railway electrification initiatives.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing and coordinating comprehensive schedules that integrate sub-projects throughout all project phases, in close collaboration with the project manager.
  • You will address scheduling challenges, escalating issues to project management when necessary, while diligently monitoring compliance with deadlines and tracking project advancement, regularly updating the project timeline.
  • Identifying discrepancies between planned and actual progress will be crucial, as you will independently coordinate corrective actions with sub-project teams.
  • In partnership with project management, you will assist in substantiating claims against external parties.
  • You will also be responsible for preparing project schedule reports for the project team, project management, and upper management, as well as supporting the development of schedules during the bidding phase of complex projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or business administration field is required.
  • Several years of relevant international experience in scheduling complex infrastructure projects is essential.
  • Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project is necessary.
  • A background in railway engineering is advantageous, but familiarity with technically complex environments is a must.
  • Your role will require exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, and a systematic approach to work, especially when interfacing with various project stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required, and a willingness to travel is essential. Proficiency in the German language will enhance your profile.
