About the role

The HR team is seeking a People Operations Partner to provide coaching, support, and influence that enable the business to effectively deliver their people plans in alignment with both business and HR strategies. This role will offer consultancy services that deliver advice and support to managers and employees on various HR-related areas, including performance management, career planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, total rewards/compensation, and policy interpretation in collaboration with specialist HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with assigned SAS business units to deliver value-added services to management and employees that align with overall business objectives.
  • Work with HR specialist teams to develop and implement employee programs and initiatives across SAS.
  • Partner with SAS business leaders to create action plans that achieve organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance and input on strategic workforce planning and talent management.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, offering guidance on performance improvement and conduct-related matters.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution at all levels.
  • Collaborate closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of professional human resources experience in areas such as employment, employee relations, salary administration, benefits, or training. Experience with an HR information/management system is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • Experience in local HR matters and workers council cooperation.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of the above qualifications.
  • A curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable mindset is essential.
