In the Procurement & Supplier Quality division, we manage a significant purchasing volume, ensuring that high-quality components are sourced from a global network of suppliers for our production facilities. Our operations span various countries, addressing challenges in areas such as autonomous technology and alternative drive systems.

As part of the Semiconductor Purchasing and Capacity Management team, you will be responsible for the procurement and capacity management of semiconductor components. Working closely with manufacturers, you will focus on technological, commercial, and strategic factors to ensure a robust supply chain. By fostering technological advancements and expanding our production network, we aim to support sustainable vehicle manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a semiconductor buyer in a dynamic international setting.
  • Formulate supply and hedging strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Negotiate and present award recommendations in committee settings.
  • Contribute to the global supplier strategy focusing on cost, quality, and availability.
  • Negotiate contracts with semiconductor manufacturers and establish supply protection measures.
  • Develop partnerships with semiconductor suppliers through site visits and travel.
  • Play a crucial role in securing the supply and strategic direction of semiconductor procurement.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in engineering, technology, or business administration.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in procurement.
  • Understanding of semiconductor production processes and technologies.
  • Fluency in English and ideally another language.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and innovative skills.
  • Proactive and passionate about cross-functional collaboration.
