Retail Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Harbor Freight Tools. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized store environment, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store appearance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
- Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with adherence to attendance policy.
