About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team at understandAI GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our computer systems, ensuring they meet the requirements, specifications, cost, and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
  • Plan, implement, and monitor IT projects and initiatives to meet our technological needs
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology-related issues and find innovative solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our technology infrastructure is in line with best practices
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect our digital assets and prevent data breaches
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization
Requirements
  • You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification (e.g. IT training, long years of experience in the field)
  • You have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
  • You have a broad expertise in data center management and data governance
  • You have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English (German is a plus)
