Data Solutions Engineer

As a key member of the Automation team, you will engage in data engineering initiatives. Our team develops innovative tools aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing the scalability of our organization while managing the data produced by our technologies, focusing on aspects such as structure, storage, access, and security.

We are looking for a Data Solutions Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in various phases of service development.
  • Assess requirements and design solutions.
  • Engage in development activities.
  • Provide training and support.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks.
  • Enhance the overall scalability of our internal tools.
  • Act as a consultant for implementing automation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and establish automated workflows.
  • Work on significant projects, including:
    • Defining and implementing data schemas and transformation processes.
    • Creating and executing ETL pipelines.
    • Establishing clustering methodologies.
Qualifications
  • A strong passion for software development and a belief in the power of software and data to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Experience with data streaming platforms such as Kafka or Spark.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python and Go.
  • Familiarity with Git and Docker.
  • Experience in setting up data analytics platforms and collaborating with data analysts.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Data Engineering role.
  • Knowledge of event streaming principles.
  • Comfort with REST or gRPC APIs.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Docker and GitLab.
  • Experience managing large-scale databases for analytics.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NATS and Clickhouse.
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow or similar tools.
