Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team at Base-2 Solutions. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that drive decision making and impact our national defense.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and manipulation of extremely large data sets.
- Work individually or as part of a team to design and develop software components, including hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve software problem reports and provide specific input to the software components of system design.
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a software engineer is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.
- Above market fixed salary or hourly pay.
- Up to $10,000 bonus for each referral.
- Additional bonuses for exceptional performance, assisting with business development and company growth.

- 100% paid premiums for short-term disability, long-term disability, accidental death & dismemberment, and life insurance.
- 8% company contribution to 401k with immediate vesting.
