Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities with existing and new clients in Germany and Northern Europe, leveraging industry connections and market trends;
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key clients, fostering trust and driving revenue growth;
  • Identify potential partners to optimize company positioning within Germany and specific opportunities, aligning with business development strategies;
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of sales leads, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion;
  • Become fully conversant in, and able to demonstrate, company products and services, showcasing value proposition to clients;
  • Interact with product technical experts & provide customer feedback, driving product improvement and customer satisfaction;
  • Manage the preparation of offers and proposals to customers in liaison with Pre-sales team, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness;
  • Support negotiation of resulting contracts, leveraging industry knowledge and negotiation skills;
  • Ensure leads are properly qualified and adhere to the Sales lifecycle for all proposals, optimizing sales efficiency;
  • Achieve business development targets for Germany and Northern Europe, driving revenue growth and market expansion;
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to keep the product website and social media up-to-date and attractive, showcasing company expertise and thought leadership;
  • Review and propose improvements to the governance of the business development process following Best Practice, driving process efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Ensure constant market/customer watch, evaluate business opportunities, and support the implementation of solutions accordingly, staying ahead of market trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • You thrive on developing and closing deals in the space and security market, working with major customers at the forefront of technology, and possess a strong customer network within the German space industry;
  • You possess strong interpersonal and commercial skills to interact, build relationships, and negotiate with customers at all levels, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction;
  • The position suits a self-starter, highly motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively, with a business hunting profile and a drive to explore new markets in Northern Europe;
  • Proficiency in English and German is necessary, with knowledge of French and other European languages being a plus.
