Overview:

Are you an experienced IT leader with extensive expertise in SAP and ERP frameworks? We are looking for an IT Director to guide our technology division, emphasizing SAP and ERP deployments and enhancements. In this role, you will oversee the design, execution, and upkeep of our SAP and ERP systems, ensuring they meet our organizational goals and provide optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth understanding of business operations related to production planning, financial services, and logistics, along with management experience in IT services.
  • Strong operational knowledge in production planning and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in various SAP applications (SAP PP, MM, SD, FI, LE, IBP, S&OP Module, etc.) and their interdependencies within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP Implementation Scenarios, including S/4HANA transformation and optimization initiatives.
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Accountable for ERP systems, database management, and system administration, with experience in both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Leadership in designing, building, and maintaining comprehensive networks and cloud provider integrations.
  • Inspire and manage dynamic teams, both on-site and remotely.
  • Encourage the organization to embrace change and adjust priorities to meet evolving demands.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members and managers, providing them with growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate team performance by regularly discussing project statuses, identifying developmental needs, and assessing performance against key metrics.
  • Oversee the creation of requirements for process or system solutions across multiple business areas by collaborating with stakeholders and directing IT teams.
  • Set clear performance expectations and monitor team members to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Foster collaboration between IT, Program/Project Managers, and other business stakeholders to enhance workforce planning.
  • Promote a unified vision across the organization with clear day-to-day goals, creating an environment where team members are motivated to contribute.
  • Effectively communicate plans, strategies, and initiatives within the business domain, both verbally and in writing.
  • Encourage innovation within the team by developing creative solutions to challenges and leveraging new technologies.
  • Guide the management of business requirements and solutions to meet functional and non-functional needs within your area of expertise.
  • Facilitate collaboration among individuals from diverse backgrounds and locations to achieve project objectives.
  • Distribute workload among team members based on availability, skill sets, and current responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance to team members on achieving effective job performance.
  • Oversee the solution design process, ensuring alignment with business strategies and operational workflows, while establishing budgets and vendor service-level agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized tools, templates, and processes to support continuous improvement within your area of expertise.

Responsibility Level:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Supervise other managers and team leaders who report directly to you.
  • Make impactful decisions that influence overall project success and financial outcomes.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Possess some financial accountability, such as managing a budget or contributing to P&L discussions.
  • Exert significant influence over key organizational decisions.
  • Complete tasks that involve multiple steps and can be executed in various sequences.
  • Employ deductive and inductive reasoning for problem-solving.
  • Exhibit creativity in developing new processes and procedures within established guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology-related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., VP level and above).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of IT-related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years of IT-related experience without a Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
