About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unreal Engine 5 developer to join our team at Thera Bytes GmbH. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality game experiences using the Unreal Engine 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement game features, mechanics, and systems using C++ and Unreal Engine 5
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain game assets, including 3D models, textures, and animations
  • Work on multiplayer and networking features to ensure seamless gameplay
  • Optimize game performance and fix bugs to ensure a smooth player experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine 5 features and best practices
Requirements
  • Profound knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and C++ programming language
  • Experience with game development, including game design, programming, and testing
  • Good understanding of game engines, including Unreal Engine 5 and Unity
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Perforce
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with VR development and Unity game engine
  • Knowledge of game development tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with game optimization and performance tuning
