Strategic Planning is Key to Success In logistics, planning is not just half the battle, it's the entire story. A well-thought-out strategy ensures that goods are transported efficiently from point A to point B. As a trainee at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, you will play a crucial role in organizing the worldwide transportation and storage of goods. You will advise our international customers, prepare customized offers, and process orders. With a diverse range of tasks, your training will be both challenging and rewarding.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will gain knowledge of various transportation modes and learn to navigate complex logistics systems.
  • You will regularly switch departments to gain insights into scheduling, customer service, billing, customs, and other areas of the business.
  • You will organize transports in Germany and worldwide using trucks, trains, ships, and planes.
  • You will advise and support customers, providing them with expert guidance on logistics solutions.
  • You will calculate prices, prepare offers, contracts, and invoices, and process customer complaints.

Requirements

  • You must have at least an intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss). Dropouts are also welcome.
  • You must speak fluent German (at least level B2, proof of school report or certificate such as Goethe-Zertifikat).
  • You must be able to speak English easily.
  • You must be able to work independently and without relying on Google Maps.
  • You must enjoy working on the computer.
  • You must be willing to work in an international environment and make contacts.
  • You must be communicative and able to inspire customers.
  • You must enjoy working in a team.
  • You must like planning and organizing.
