Job Description

As a Cost Engineer Market Intelligence & Sourcing Analytics, you will play a key role in our Supply Chain Excellence division, providing strategic and operational support to our International Category Manager and Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost intelligence & analytics solutions to create valuable insights embedded into our Sourcing and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure growth of valuable data sources and external partner collaboration in cost engineering projects.
  • Further scale the application and usage of smart cost analytics and cost engineering on materials and services.
  • Ensure a close and effective interaction with our Category teams and Management to deliver valuable data products and to secure the integration of cost analytics & data insights in decision making processes.
  • Build and strengthen business stakeholder relations, serve as the primary point of contact for data collaboration.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration / Engineering, Technology or equivalent professional qualification.
  • First experiences in leading cost engineering initiatives with technical product manager and Category manager.
  • Experienced understanding about data management, data validation and the consolidation of key facts & figures.
  • Experience in the management of analytical projects and methods of data analysis and/or cost planning.
  • Strategic thinker with strong acumen to smart analytics as well as the experience of developing and implementing effective solutions/concepts for out of the box inquiries of data assessment.
  • Fluent in English and German.
