Deputy Department Manager

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Department Manager to join our team at BG Universitätsklinikum Bergmannsheil Bochum. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and maintain the financial accounting system, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to departmental staff, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and laws, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP (MM/CO/FI) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
