Join Our Team as a Senior Manager M&A Renewables

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager M&A Renewables to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Renewables team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and execution of acquisitions of early-stage development projects and disposals of 0.5-1 GW plus p.a. of renewables projects or portfolios.
  • Manage internal project teams and external advisors to resolve project issues and risks and ensure project success.
  • Negotiate transaction structures and commercial terms with counterparties together with relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of joint ventures, partnership structures, and acquired companies.
  • Optimize cooperation within the Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, offtake managers, market and strategy analysts, and a network of external partners.
  • Report to the Vice President Asset Rotation & Partnering at Uniper.
Your Profile
  • Hold a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or comparable studies.
  • Have extensive relevant work experience in commercial renewables, corporate M&A, corporate finance, or comparable commercial roles.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in leading project teams.
  • Understand the main economic drivers of utility-scale solar-PV and wind assets.
  • Be a creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor.
  • Have a proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences.
  • Be willing to travel internationally.
  • Have business fluency in German, English, and additional languages are a plus.
