Job Overview

As a vital member of our Solution Consulting team, you will play a significant role in driving our future achievements by supporting the sales of [Employee Experience, Customer Workflow, ITX] solutions. Your expertise will help generate revenue for one of our offerings, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Management, and the executive leadership. This position requires a hands-on technical consultant capable of delivering and positioning solutions effectively throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

The Solution Consultant serves as a technical advisor with the advanced capability to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions during sales cycles, while meeting quarterly and annual sales objectives for a designated territory.

  • Act as a technical and domain expert to support product sales within a client-facing sales team.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and provide product demonstrations that align our solutions with their needs.
  • Address product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Offer insights to product management regarding enhancements that can meet customer requirements and deliver additional value.
  • Share and acquire best practices and reusable resources with fellow Solution Consultants to improve team quality and efficiency.
  • Remain informed on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Skills in territory management, including pipeline development and collaboration with Sales counterparts to ensure execution excellence.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
