Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Set Manager DWS to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of our fleet, managing resources, and providing analysis-based logistical standardization to meet contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Readiness Mission Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the operational readiness of our fleet, including managing resources, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to improve performance.
- Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the logistics operations of our fleet, including managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Fleet Readiness Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the readiness of our fleet, including managing maintenance schedules, tracking inventory, and providing status updates.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and provide reports to stakeholders on the operational readiness of our fleet, including identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 8 years of related civilian or military experience required, including 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and implement local policies.
- Certifications: Secret Clearance required.
- Army Logistics MOS: Preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree: In Logistics, Business Administration/Management, or equivalent highly preferred.
