Senior Observability Solutions Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Senior Observability Enablement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our observability practices. Your expertise will help us to create sustainable technology solutions that foster a greener world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate observability workshops aimed at requirements engineering and service decomposition in collaboration with product teams.
- Execute technical integrations of new data sources utilizing New Relic, while identifying automation needs to promote self-service capabilities.
- Develop and maintain centrally managed monitoring solutions for fundamental observability, and assist product teams in crafting tailored advanced monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Product Owner to formulate an adoption strategy and execution plan for onboarding activities.
- Empower product teams through knowledge sharing and conducting training sessions.
- Continuously enhance training and enablement materials in partnership with the Empowerment Lead.
- Create self-service monitoring capabilities that allow users to independently onboard their use cases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing monitoring and observability solutions, preferably with New Relic.
- Comprehensive understanding of monitoring and observability functionalities.
- Strong grasp of IT operations requirements, particularly within a DevOps framework.
- Technical proficiency in cloud-native technologies and interfaces.
- Experience with programming, APIs, and GitOps, particularly in Python.
- Familiarity with large-scale deployment and management is advantageous.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of German considered a plus.
- Exceptional service orientation and effective communication skills with stakeholders.
