Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing simulation tools and substitute models for battery cells.
  • Innovate methodologies for battery cell modeling aimed at enhancing computational efficiency without compromising accuracy.
  • Leverage cutting-edge neural network advancements to predict the thermal and electrical performance of battery cell models.
  • Validate models through comprehensive simulation and empirical data analysis.

The specific focus of the thesis will be finalized in collaboration with your academic institution and our team.

Qualifications:

  • Academic background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques, especially concerning neural networks.
  • Familiarity with battery technology and simulation software such as StarCCM+ and COMSOL is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a goal-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills.
  • Fluency in German or English is required.
