Job Description

As a global leader in power systems and IoT, we are seeking a talented Vision Model Developer to join our team. In this role, you will develop a foundation model that can be easily customized and fine-tuned for various vision tasks using Infineon's dataset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a foundation model that can accommodate images of different sizes and spatial resolutions, effectively utilizing spectral information.
  • Optimize the model to effectively utilize spectral information, potentially drawing inspiration from models like DINOv2, Mask Auto Encoder (MAE), IJEPA.
  • Investigate multi-stage pretraining techniques to improve model performance.
  • Validate the model's performance through ablation studies and comparison with existing foundation models.
Requirements
  • Currently studying Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or a related subject.
  • Familiar with foundation models, such as Segment Anything and Masked Auto Encoder (MAE). IJEPA, DIN.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in programming languages, such as Python, deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and Bash scripting, Linux terminal knowledge to streamline data processing.
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken.
