Ideal Candidate Profile
We are in search of a dedicated senior or lead product designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing software products within a startup environment that prioritizes innovation, user-centric design, and high technical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Craft and prototype visually appealing, high-quality products that can be delivered swiftly.
- Engage in active iteration with prototypes at various design fidelity levels, guided by user insights, market analysis, and business objectives.
- Lead research, brainstorming, prototyping, and testing initiatives that address customer challenges and promote growth for SIRIUS.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure that relevant insights and business objectives inform our development process.
- Work closely with engineers to deliver superior user experiences.
- Contribute to the establishment and documentation of product design methodologies and operational processes at SIRIUS.
- Facilitate ongoing design evaluations and refinements throughout the development cycle.
- Support the growth and eventual leadership of the product design team as the company expands.
- 3-5 years of experience in designing digital products across various platforms (web, desktop, and mobile).
- A robust portfolio showcasing outstanding product designs developed in a competitive startup context.
- Strong analytical skills to navigate complex interaction design challenges.
- Comprehensive experience in the entire design process, from research and initial concepts to final design delivery.
- Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and the needs they address.
- Proficiency in using Figma for design and prototyping purposes.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the capacity to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience in the education, music, or gaming industries.
