Role Purpose: The Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) division is dedicated to creating an innovative array of technologies that address the complex needs of patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid valve diseases. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships with heart failure specialists and general cardiologists, enhancing awareness of interventional approaches for atrioventricular valve regurgitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify barriers to patient access within specific regions, proposing innovative solutions to inform and influence strategic outreach initiatives for mitral and tricuspid patients.
- Foster and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) through consistent outreach, educational initiatives, and participation in conferences.
- Create materials aimed at both HCPs and patients to support the strategic business plan in collaboration with clinical marketing.
- Provide expert technical support on devices and protocols, ensuring effective patient selection and screening processes.
- Identify opportunities within the Heart Team referral pathway to enhance patient access to critical clinical trials.
- Engage with existing HCPs to uncover clinical needs and challenges related to the adoption of clinical trial protocols.
- Establish timelines and deliverables aligned with overarching business objectives.
- Offer technical guidance on various projects, identifying potential bottlenecks and collaborating with clinical affairs and cross-functional teams.
- Accurately track and document all activities in accordance with clinical trial guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related field is required; a scientific or clinical background is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in heart failure within the pharmaceutical or medical device sectors is highly advantageous.
- Prior roles as a Clinical Specialist or Therapy Development Specialist in the interventional cardiology field are preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical trials is preferred.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.

- Demonstrated project management expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel.
- Exceptional documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship management.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert with specialized knowledge.
