Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Portfolio Manager to further develop the components of the Commuter & Regional Trains train platforms. As a key member of our team, you will reduce the number of variants and enable the components to be used as widely as possible, with the aim of significantly reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a link between sales, offer, project, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to drive cost reduction and component standardization.
- Work closely with technical experts to develop technical conceptual designs and lead the project team.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the content and schedules of development projects as part of R&D controlling.
- Represent technical solutions with customers, at trade fairs, and in dedicated presentations.
Requirements
- Technical master's degree.
- Many years of professional experience in engineering or project management in the rail industry or industrial plant construction.
- First-hand experience in product or portfolio management.
- Experience working with international teams across locations and communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different hierarchical levels.
- Fluent command of English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
