About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Portfolio Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in further developing the components of our Commuter & Regional Trains train platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce the number of variants and increase the use of components across our product lines.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, offer, project, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with technical experts to design and develop new components and products.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the content and schedules of development projects.
  • Represent technical solutions to customers, at trade fairs, and in presentations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Significant experience in engineering or project management in the rail industry or industrial plant construction.
  • Previous experience in product or portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language skills, with knowledge of German an advantage.
