Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for a UI/UX Design Program Coordinator to join our skilled and international design team. We firmly believe in the transformative power of design as a catalyst for ongoing innovation and boundary-pushing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, oversee, and guide dedicated design projects efficiently.
  • Ensure projects adhere to budgetary and time constraints while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Facilitate organization-wide alignments through effective communication channels and reporting.
  • Supervise and track global design activities to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality assets.
  • Analyze and resolve conflicts in a multicultural setting, removing obstacles and acting as a catalyst for design leadership.
  • Collaborate with external partners.
  • Support departmental growth in processes, methods, and tools in conjunction with the department manager.
  • Assist in long-term resource and budget planning.
  • Manage escalation of issues to the appropriate level.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent in Automotive/Industrial Design, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese.
  • 5+ years of experience in a global automotive context, preferably with an OEM.
  • Significant experience as a UX Project Manager.
  • Strong planning, management, and oversight skills with attention to detail.
  • Preferred certifications such as IPMA / PMI or similar.
  • Thorough understanding of the automotive design landscape and its challenges.
  • Familiarity with automotive design development processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of requirements and deliverables for each design development phase.
  • Strong grasp of engineering criteria and requirements.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Reliability and capability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage and complete projects from inception to conclusion.
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of accountability.
