HR Operations Specialist

The selected individual will assist in the daily operations of the Human Resources department for Mitel DACH/GER, managing payroll, benefits, and leave while upholding company policies and practices.

This position requires a solid understanding of the business landscape, enabling the candidate to propose effective solutions within their area of expertise, while considering the implications for all stakeholders. The role will also involve contributing to the formulation and enhancement of HR policies, processes, procedures, and standards within Mitel DACH/GER.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to employees regarding work-related concerns.
  • Conduct research and analyze data for assigned initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Prepare documentation for updates in the HR system, including changes related to maternity leave, salary adjustments, new positions, and employee transitions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
  • Draft employment contracts and related amendments.
  • Generate certificates for employees as required for banking, medical, or other administrative purposes.
  • Advise and support employees on various HR-related matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Support the collection and analysis of HR metrics.
  • Maintain employee records and files, ensuring compliance with legal standards through regular audits.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and collective agreements, providing consultation on early retirement and partial retirement programs.
  • Perform calculations in accordance with regulations and collective agreements, explaining these to employees as needed.

Qualifications

  • University-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of German labor laws, regulations, and obligations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
