Job Description

As a Cloud Architect at Robotron Datenbank-Software, you will analyze customer requirements and develop tailored cloud infrastructure solutions.

You will support our customers in migrating their systems to the cloud and design the optimal cloud architecture for their needs.

You will create and implement concepts to ensure scalable operations, data protection, and budget control.

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join our team at Robotron Datenbank-Software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing customer requirements and providing architectural guidance
  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Designing and adapting cloud services
  • Planning system migrations to cloud environments
  • Supporting our Presales team
  • Conducting workshops and creating technical documentation
Requirements
  • A completed IT education (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fachinformatiker/in for Systemintegration, or equivalent)
  • Strong networking knowledge
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
  • Practical experience with one of the following hyperscalers: Azure, Oracle, AWS
  • Good programming skills in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, SQL)
  • Desirable experience in automation, standardization, and development of systems and processes (e.g., with Terraform and Ansible)
  • Strong service and customer orientation with a willingness to continuously develop
  • German language skills at B2 level
